Returns and Exchanges
We strive to ensure that every purchase made in our online store brings positive emotions. If the purchased product is not suitable for you, you have the right to exercise your right of withdrawal in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Estonia.
Right of Withdrawal from the Contract
Pursuant to § 56 of the Estonian Law of Obligations Act (Võlaõigusseadus), a consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days from the date of receiving the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision before the expiry of the above-mentioned period.
Upon receipt of the returned goods, we will refund the amount paid for the product as soon as possible, but no later than 14 calendar days from the date of receiving the returned goods. Refunds will be made using the same payment method that was used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed between the parties.
After submitting a notice of withdrawal from the contract, the customer must return the goods no later than 14 calendar days thereafter.
How to Request a Return
To request a return, please send a free-form statement to the following e-mail address: info@curlystories.com.
Please include the following information in your statement:
* order number;
* date of receipt of the order;
* name, colour, and size of the product being returned;
* name and contact details of the customer;
* photographs of the product (if available).
After receiving your request, we will contact you and provide further instructions regarding the return process.
Requirements for Returned Goods
To be eligible for a return, the product must meet the following conditions:
* the product has not been used;
* there are no signs of wear, washing, contamination, or damage;
* the original packaging has been preserved where possible;
* the product is in a condition that allows it to be resold.
The customer is liable for any reduction in the value of the goods if the product has been used in a manner exceeding what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods, as would be permitted in a physical retail store.
To facilitate faster processing of the return, we recommend indicating the order number on the package or including the relevant information inside the parcel.
Made-to-Order Products
Some products offered in our store are manufactured individually after an order has been placed.
If you wish to change the size or model of such a product, the return will be processed in the standard manner: the product must first be returned to the seller, after which a refund will be issued. A new product must then be ordered separately through the online store.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Estonia, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods manufactured according to the customer’s individual specifications or clearly personalised to meet the customer’s requirements.
Such goods include products manufactured specifically for a particular customer, as well as products featuring individual inscriptions, images, designs, or other personalised elements.
Where a product has been manufactured exclusively for a specific customer order, the seller is entitled to refuse acceptance of a return and the reimbursement of funds, except where the product has a manufacturing defect, has been damaged, or does not correspond to the order placed.
Returns via Omniva
If your order was delivered through Omniva, you may use the return code that was sent to you by SMS and e-mail together with the parcel delivery notification.
Returns may be made through any Omniva parcel machine. After entering the return code, a compartment will open for you to place the parcel.
Please note that Omniva parcel machines no longer print return labels automatically. The necessary shipment labelling will be applied by the delivery service provider.
If the return code is unavailable or has been lost, please contact us at info@curlystories.com, and we will offer an alternative method for returning the goods.
