I’m Roana

My name is Roana, and I am an illustrator from Estonia.
I create illustrations in a cinematic comic style, blending the atmosphere of cinema with the expressive language of comics. Every illustration I create is a cinematic frame of its own, with its own mood, composition, and story. I draw inspiration from nature, cityscapes, and the world of film, transforming everyday moments into visually compelling scenes.
I am also a film director, creating short narrative and documentary films. My experience in filmmaking allows me to approach every illustration as if it were a scene from a movie—each artwork becoming part of a larger visual narrative.
